rust-kernel
Rustbelt: a hobby x86_64 kernel written in Rust
1 2 3 4 | Copy-on-write: btrfs never overwrites a block in place. To change a leaf
it writes a new copy somewhere free, then a new copy of its parent that
points to it, and so on up to the root. The superblock is the last thing
written; until then the old tree is still complete on disk.
